No deposit

Simple terms, simple experience. You are responsible for any damages, but you don't have to pay a deposit upfront.

Taxi service

We can get you a taxi from where you are to our pick-up location in Albufeira, where you start your trip with the vehicle you booked.

How it works

  • 1. Book your buggy

    Online, by phone or in-person.

  • 2. Pick it up

    For now, pick up your buggy at our colleagues at Bulldog Buggy's in Silves 


    (from 31 March 2025 we open our Albufeira location)

  • 3. Choose a route

    Ask us for our curated Algarve routes: Coastal, Inland Waters, or Inland Nature. Or choose to roam freely with no set route.

  • 4. Enjoy the drive!

    You can drive anywhere a car is allowed to drive, except for toll roads. If you do end up on a toll road, the toll charges are at your expense.

  • 5. Drop-off

    Drop off the vehicle at the same location where you picked it up. We inspect the vehicle for any damages.

  • How much is the security deposit?

    None. All damage will be at your cost.

  • Where can I drive with a buggy?

    Ask us for a recommended route, or do your own thing (free driving). You can drive anywhere a car is allowed to drive, except for toll roads. If you do end up on a toll road, the toll charges are at your expense.

  • Which payment methods are accepted?

    You can pay cash or card on location.

  • Where do I pick up and drop off the vehicle?

    For now, pick up your buggy at our colleagues at Bulldog Buggy Tours in Silves

  • Am I insured?

    Buggies and their occupants are insured with a liability insurance, including tourism

  • Do I have to return the tank full?

    Yes, you have to return the tank full. If you don't, you'll pay the difference plus a handling fee.

  • Do I have to wear a helmet?

    Helmet is not obligatory and not included. A buggy is considered a car.

  • Do I need a driver's license?

    Yes, a driver's license is required. It cannot be a temporary one. It needs to be valid.

  • What is the minimum age for driving a Buggy To Go?

    The minimum age for driving a Buggy To Go is 23.

  • How many persons fit in a buggy?

    Each of our buggies fit 2 persons.

  • What happens when I return late?

    A late fee will be applied when you exceed your rental period.

  • Which fuel goes in the buggy?


  • What documents do you need from me?

    A valid driver's license and a valid photo ID (passport, ID card or driver's license).

  • What if I get car trouble on the road?

    Call us and tell what is happening. If the buggy broke down we may come pick it up and bring you another buggy.

  • How many buggies do you have for my group?

    Normally we have enough. Just make sure you book in advance if you're coming as a big group.

  • Can I return the buggy somewhere else?

    No, you always have to return the buggy at the pickup location (which is at our colleagues from Bulldog Buggy Tours in Silves).
